Kris A. Thompson

Kris A. Thompson, 41, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born on October 27, 1975 in Findlay, OH to Larry and Deborah (Long) Thompson, Sr. Kris worked as a service technician most recently at Tri-Motors Ford in Oak Harbor and at the Pit Stop in Oak Harbor. He loved the water, including boating and fishing, and had lived in Florida from 2003 until just recently. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Kris was known for his sense of humor and he loved to laugh. Kris firmly believed in family and he will be greatly missed by family and friends. In addition to his parents, Kris is survived by his brothers, Larry Thompson, Jr. and Michael Thompson, niece, Danielle Beltz, nephew, Zachary Thompson, and maternal grandmother, Loretta Long. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Long and paternal grandparents, Alvin and Florabelle Thompson. Cremation will take place under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH. Private family services will be conducted at a later date.
