Kirsten L. Sundermeyer

Kirsten L. “Krissy” Sundermeyer, 65, of Williston, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Luther Home of Mercy. She was born on March 12, 1958, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to John F. and Velma L. (Kyser) Sundermeyer.

Krissy became a resident of the Luther Home of Mercy in 1974 and has enjoyed the loving care and country surroundings for the past 49 years. In her early time at Luther Home, she worked at Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor, with many of the other Luther Home residents. She enjoyed tending her raised garden just outside of her cottage with help from those around her and collecting dollar bills!

Krissy is survived by her parents, Dr. John & Velma Sundermeyer, brothers, Joe (Barb) Sundermeyer, Mark (Colleen) Sundermeyer, one niece, two nephews and many friends at Luther Home.

A private service for Krissy will be conducted with burial to follow in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, Ohio. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa, Ohio is assisting with arrangements. The family suggests memorials in her name, be made to the Luther Home of Mercy, P O Box 189, 5810 N.
