Kirin Rafe Brogan

Kirin Rafe Brogan, 4, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 23, 2008 in Toledo, Ohio to Melissa S. Brogan. Kirin, along with his family, attended Lighthouse Christian Church of Walbridge. He was an avid Harley-Davidson fan and he loved Rock ‘n Roll. Kirin enjoyed his many trips to the Toledo Zoo to see all the animals, especially the marine life. He loved anything to do with the water. Kirin is survived by his loving mother, Melissa S. Brogan, gamma, Windy Brogan (Dave Moore), grandpa, James Brogan, great-grandma, Barb Taber (Bill Geitgey), aunts, Jenny and Taylor Brogan, uncles, Sean and Ayden Brogan and many extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his great great-grandmother, Juanita “Rusty” Jones. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 10, 2013 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH., 419-874-3133, where funeral services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kirin Brogan Cancer Fund at the First Federal Bank of Defiance. The family wishes to thank Toledo Children’s Hospital Oncology Department, for their outpouring support and Signature Harley Davidson in Perrysburg for the funding which enabled Kirin and his family to go on his Make-A-Wish Foundation trip to Florida.
