My courageous and amazing wife passed into the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ on June 14, 2014, at home, after a valiant six month battle with cancer. Kim was with her loving husband of almost 32 years. Also with Kim was her dear sister, Julie 'Jules' Wiant of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Kim, 58, was born on the 21st of April, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio to Edgar Wiant and Gayle (Rowlette) Wiant who preceded Kim in death. Also preceding her in death is her younger brother, Gregg; her dear grandmother 'Nana,' Virginia Wiant and her grandfather, George Rowlette. Kim graduated from Hudson (Ohio) High School in 1974, and from B.G.S.U. in 1979, with bachelor degrees in both criminology and sociology. Kim paid her way through B.G.S.U. by working summers at Sea World doing skits with Shamu and riding the dolphins in various acts. Upon graduating she went to work as a manager with Friendly Restaurants. One of her most cherished moments was becoming a Christ Dunberger American Legion Auxillary Unit 537 Life Member. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gary Arquette; sister, Jules Wian; brother and sisters-in-law, Rick and Susie Arquette, Dan and Ginny Arquette; as well as many nieces and nephews. An avid animal lover, she leaves behind our four furry children, three cats and a dog. Donations in Kim's memory may be made to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Humane Society. Arrangements are being handled by Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be on June 18, from 2 until 8 p.m. with a Christ Dunberger Post Unit 537 Service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be on June 19, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
