Kim Ann Kohl

On the morning of March 23, 2017 at 9:04am, Kim received her angel wings. Kim was 58 years old, born on November 15, 1958 to Duane and Patricia (Blazey) Ziolkowski. She was raised in Maumee, Ohio, where she attended St. Patrick of Heatherdowns and graduated from Maumee High School. Then she moved to Perrysburg, Ohio, when she married Jeff Kohl on June 21, 1986. She went on to court reporting school and became a well known Court Reporter in Lucas County common Pleas Court. Kim loved her friends and her friends loved her equally in return. Kim is survived by her husband Jeff Kohl; her children Kristin and Brian Kohl; mother, Pat (Blazey) Ziolkowski; brother, Duane Ziolkowski (Cindy); sister, Lori MacRitchie (Rich Aldrich); in laws, Mary Ann & Robert Kohl, Debbie and Bruce Bouts; nieces and nephews, Megan and Derek Ziolkowski, Andrea and Darrah MacRitchie, Alexa and Keith Bouts. She was preceded in death by her father Duane Ziolkowski, Sr. Kim was an avid animal lover and enjoyed gardening outdoors. She was especially talented at decorating and do-it-yourself projects. Friends will be received at Witzler Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133) on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 2 PM-8 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 9:30 AM-10 AM at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, 4201 Heatherdowns, Toledo with a memorial mass to follow at 10 AM.
