Kevin P. McComas, 64, of Clay Center, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. He was the son of Alfred P. and Barbara (French) McComas and was born in Toledo on September 8, 1956. He married Frances M. (Pierce) in Genoa, Ohio on April 21, 2001 and she survives. Kevin was an accomplished and hardworking welder his entire life and as a young man he traveled to Alaska to work with his father on the construction of the Alaskan Pipeline project. He also traveled all across the United States working on many other projects. He served in the U.S. Navy and had an opportunity to visit Italy, which he really enjoyed. Kevin was an avid classic car enthusiast who had a knack for refurbishing old cars and trucks, he was always tinkering on something! He was a member of the Genoa Lodge #433 F & A M and the Zenobia Shrine in Perrysburg, Ohio. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Kevin is survived by his wife of 20 years, Frances, daughters, Tiffany, Tracy and Rebecca, brother, Phillip, several grandchildren, half-sisters, Julie and Darlene and many nieces and nephews on both side of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Barbara. There will be visitation from 1-4 PM, Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West Street, Genoa, Ohio 43430. Services will be private. A Masonic service will be conducted at 2:30 PM in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.
