Kenneth D Warner

Kenneth D. Warner age 88 of Toledo passed away Saturday December 31, 2011 in Flower Hospital. He was born November 30, 1923 in Greenville, Ohio to Elmer and Garnett Hayes Warner. A veteran of World War II he also received the Purple Heart. Ken was the former owner and operator of the Apple Tree Lounge in Maumee for many years. He loved all animals, especially horses and raised Arabians and Morgans. He was preceded in death by his wife Alyce, son Neal and brother Ted Warner. Surviving is his daughter Chalise Ann Dennis Underwood; step-daughter Judy Cousino; sister Jackie Marshall; grandchildren Augest Pamela and Aaron Courtney Underwood and Joseph Brenda, Jeffrey Gina, Scott Michelle and Robert Tonya Cousino; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Tuesday from 2-8 PM where the funeral ceremony will be held Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Craig Scholl of Memorial Lutheran Church officiating.
