Kenneth Lamarr Wade, 63 of Toledo, Ohio passed away surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on July 10, 1959, to Arthur Wade and Reverend Ella Williams.
Kenneth, also known as "Kenny”, “Granddaddy”, or "Wolfneck” was a 1977 graduate of Jesup W. Scott High School (once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog). It was at Scott High School that he met his future wife, Juana Springs. The two were completely inseparable and true companions in life together. Kenny worked at The Schill Corporation for 20 years where he formed many friendships. Kenny was a faithful Christian man who love the Lord and was greatly impacted by the teachings of the Bible.
He was a generous father figure to many, was known for his desire to raise kids who were not his own and opened his doors to anyone who needed help. He and his wife were foster parents for many years.
Kenny was a loyal youth football and basketball coach for The Thunderbolts and The Keyser Cobras. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and looked forward to shooting pool on Tuesday evenings. He also enjoyed watching boxing matches, a good sci-fi or western movie, and taking care of his yard.
Kenny was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and a strong leader of his family. His sons will miss his calls to discuss football games. Everyone will miss his booming voice (yelling at kids) while they knew his bark was bigger than his bite! Kenny’s great sense of humor, constant presence, and support will be remembered by all who loved him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Valeria Graves; sister-in-law, Jackie Fritz.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Juana Wade; children, Montrice Wade, Jackie Wade (Tony Scruggs), Kenneth Wade, Jr., Donell Fowlkes, Joshua Fowlkes, Pam Gray; bonus children, Obsession, Rikki, and Kobe; grandchildren, Jalen, Zaden, Zanai, McKayla, Reign, Kennedy, and Jaden; siblings, Curtis (Gloria) McDonald, Ella René Williams, Bishop Victor Beauchamp, and Brenda McCullough; goddaughters, LaDrea Gullat, Latrice Mickles, and Britni Mickles; close friends, Duane Broadnax, Calvin Walker, Richard Manning, James Manning; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
