Kenneth Jeffrey Schultz December 10, 1949 – April 14, 2025

Kenneth Jeffrey “Jeff” Schultz, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on December 10, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, to Lynn and Marian Schultz. On June 26, 1971, Jeff married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Kathy Corron.

Jeff proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart for his bravery and sacrifice.

Known for his infectious laugh and captivating storytelling, Jeff brought joy to everyone around him. He was a hardworking man with an incredible ability to fix anything. His love for animals earned him the affectionate nickname of “animal whisperer.” His passions ranged from reading and bike riding to playing ping pong, horseshoes, and darts. He especially treasured "guys' nights" with his closest friends.

Jeff found peace and happiness in the great outdoors, from camping trips and relaxing in his hammock to cherished family vacations at Wagner Lake. Watching his grandchildren excel in sports brought him immense pride and joy. His smile and daily conversations will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Jeff is survived by his devoted wife, Katherine Schultz; his children, BJ Schultz, Dan (Michelle) Schultz, and Leslie (Keith) Risner; grandchildren, Kayla Karcher, and Brandon Schultz, Leila and Wyatt Risner; and one great-grandchild on the way. He also leaves behind his siblings, Lynn (Pat) Schultz, Steven (Cindy) Schultz, Mark (Chris) Schultz, and Karen (Larry) Welborn; and sister-in-law, Connie Schultz.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Marian Schultz; siblings, Evelyn Stickley, Nicole Anderson and David Schultz.
