Kenneth A. Rose

Kenneth A. Rose, 64, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Monday, April 01, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH, surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born on December 01, 1948 in Port Clinton, the son of Claude and Alberta Schell Rose. On February 21, 1981 in St. John Lutheran Church, he married Marcia ONeal and she survives. Kenneth was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He worked in sales at the H. Poll Electric Co. in Sandusky for 15 years. Kenneth was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was an avid Ohio State Fan. Kenneth loved golfing, fishing and cooking for his family, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 32 years: Marcia Rose; Daughter: Kendra Dan Segel Rose; Son: Kenneth M. Mike Reba Rose; Step-Daughter: Kimberly Todd Taylor; Grandchildren: Owen, Elle & Tate Segel, Brayden & Kailee Rose, Ashley & Brittany Taylor; Sister: Kathy Kevin Hesselbart; Step-Mother: Eloise Tyren: OSU Buddies: Mark Harnisch & Harold Brandt and Kennys cats: Sweetie & Baby Girl. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 2-8PM, Friday, April 05, 2013 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. James Lehman at 11:00AM, Saturday, April 06, 2013 in St. John Lutheran Church, 207 Adams St., Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Kenneth may be given to the Home Away from Home at St. Vincent Hospital, 2213 Cherry St., Toledo, OH 43608 or to a charity of the donors choice.
