Kenneth Owen Richmond, Sr.

RICHMOND, SR. Kenneth Owen Kenneth Owen Richmond, Sr. passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at his home in Toledo. Ken was born June 27, 1943 in Toledo to Owen and Evelyn Richmond. He went to St. Annes grade school and graduated from Central Catholic High School. Ken recently retired from Omnicare, formerly Westhaven Pharmaceuticals. He was an avid bowler and a longtime member of Memorial Lutheran Church. He treasured his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Willa Mae Richmond; parents, and a grand-niece. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Mike Coy, Kenneth Lindy Richmond, Jr., and Pamela David Bunch; grandchildren, Sara Mae, Brian, Benjamin, Katie, Liam, and Adeline; brothers, Ronald and Gary Krys Richmond; sister-in-law, Joyce Chuck Rhegness; nieces, Lori and Andrea; and nephews, David and Jim; and several grand-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. and Tuesday from 10-11am at Memorial Lutheran Church, 3215 Douglas Rd., Toledo, OH followed by funeral services at 11:00am at the church. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Lutheran Church.
