Kenneth P Reinhart

Apr 23, 1945 — Jun 28, 2026

Kenneth P. Reinhart (81) of Rossford, Ohio passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Wesley Glen in Columbus, Ohio. Ken was born on April 23, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, where he attended Waite High School. He served his country in the Army from 1965-1967, where he was stationed in Germany as a crewman for a Nike missile unit. After returning from service, he married the love of his life, Phyllis, and they shared a wonderful 25 years before her passing much too early in life. Ken was a forklift operator for Kaiser Aluminum from 1967 to 1991. He also worked as a dock manager at Elder-Beerman Department Store in the former Woodville Mall until its closure in 2009.

Ken was a long-time member of All Saints Catholic Church in Rossford, where he volunteered much of his time helping with the parish festival, bingo, rummage sale, giving tree, pierogi making, and wherever a hand was needed. He volunteered weekly at the Helping Hands of St. Louis food pantry. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ken took great joy in putting a smile on people's faces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Rose Reinhart; his beloved wife, Phyllis (Wayton); and his sister, Diane (LaPlante). He is survived by son, Justin (Lisa-Marie) Reinhart; daughter, Karen Reinhart; and siblings, Robert Reinhart, Nick (Sharon) Reinhart, Kathy (Greg) Krall, Joseph Reinhart, and Jim Reinhart; and two wonderful grandchildren, Luke and Clara, who became the joy of his life.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Thursday, July 2 at All Saints Catholic Church in Rossford, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am and interment at Resurrection Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to All Saints Catholic Church or Helping Hands of St. Louis.
