Kenneth E. Rahm, 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on January 26, 2022. Ken was born on February 12, 1955, to his loving parents Lawrence and Corinne (Hauck) Rahm, and was raised in Toledo alongside his five siblings.
Ken attended Rosary Cathedral Elementary School and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School where he made many friends, some of whom became a part of his life to the present. He worked for Chrysler LLC, retiring in 2014 after 30 years of service, but he started preparing for a second career when he became a licensed real estate agent in 2004, most recently working as a realtor for Danberry Real Estate.
Those who knew Ken appreciated that he was always looking out for and helping others. He was generous with his time, talent, thoughtfulness, and concern for family, friends, and even clients. He developed a wide network of friends because he was loyal and treated everyone with respect, often mixed with a good dash of joking and teasing. He was the go-to guy when something needed to be done. He often had DIY projects going on at his house—or the homes of his family and friends. He spent time volunteering at St. Vincent Hospital, Mobile Meals of Toledo, and St. Louis Church. He loved hosting parties for family and friends, and even meeting neighbors as he walked the dog. He was the keeper of beloved family stories and he was the heart of every group in which he was a member. He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Corinne Rahm. He is survived by his siblings, Mary (James) Grummel, Pat (Joe) Rudski, Larry Rahm, Jerry (Donna) Rahm, Kathy Rahm; nephews, Jim (Nichole) Grummel, Jr., Dan (Tegan) Rudski, Chris (Mayuko) Rudski, Andy Wysong (Josh Schlegel); nieces, Wendi Furlong, Jennifer (Sean) Lewis, Jeanne (Jon Mickle) Rudski, Stephanie (Jennie) Wysong-Choo; great nephews, Derrion Grummel, Will Rudski, John Rudski, Harry Rudski, Hotaru Rudski; great nieces, Brittni Furlong, Julia Grummel, Jalen Grummel, Emily Lewis, Anna Lewis; friend, Carol Schwartz; and many other friends and relatives.
