Kenneth M. Jensen, 54, of Sandusky and formerly of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his residence. Kenny was born on February 15, 1963, in Port Clinton, OH, the son of Kenneth and Janet (Anderson) Jensen. He worked for the City of Sandusky in the forestry department as an arborist. Kenny graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1981. He was an avid fisherman and loved nature, birding, gardening hunting and his dog, Bo. Kenny was honored by the City of Port Clinton on May 1, 1998 and the Ohio House of Representatives for rescuing a man from the Portage River. He was given the Nic-O-Time award. Kenny will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are: Daughter: Brittany (Jason) Adkins: Granddaughters: Isabella and Avery Adkins; Mother: Janet Jensen; Siblings: Mike Jensen, Lisa (Patrick) McCloskey, Brian (Monica) Jensen and Jeff Jensen; Former Spouse: Lisa (Scott) Murphy. Kenny was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be 5-8PM, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, January 26, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Back to the Wild, 4504 Bardshar Rd. Castalia, OH 44824.
