Kenneth Lee Limestahl

Kenneth (Ken) L. Limestahl, 90, passed away on May 9, 2023 at Continuing Healthcare of Milan after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 20, 1932 in Fremont , Ohio to Kenneth and Pauline (Stewart) Limestahl. On June 21, 1952 he married Catherine “Katy” Macko.

Ken served in the Air Force from 1952-1956 in Lubbuck, Texas, then returned to Port Clinton where he worked at EPG, was a truck driver for a local company. In 1961 became a police officer for the city of Port Clinton. He worked for Burk Ford in Port Clinton, Tri-Motor Sales in Oak Harbor and Port Clinton, drove an Ice Fishing Taxi and for Ottawa County as a bridge tender at the Portage River Bridge . Ken was the first Harbor Master in Port Clinton.

Ken loved to be on Lake Erie boating, fishing or just cruising around the islands with his family. He is survived by his wife Katy of 70 years. Children Robert (Phyllis), Susan Frampton (Jay ), Paul (Terri), Patricia Lukac (James Rakocy) and Joseph (Missy). fifteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, and nine great- great grandchildren. Sisters Betty Yap, California and Judy Lowe, Elyria, Ohio, many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents and sister Shirley Stout.

There will be no visitation or services as cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Port Clinton F.O.P. Lodge 79, 1868 E. Perry Street, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
