Kenneth Edward Kowalczk

Kenneth Edward Kowalczk, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Ken was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 30, 1956. He married Holly Baron in 1978.  Together they had three children who were the pride and joy of his life.  A hard worker, he took pleasure in home improvement projects, his yard and helping friends and family. He was employed for 30 years at the Kroger Company where he was a meat cutter.  Ken enjoyed gardening, golf, and ballroom dancing with his special friend Betty Nungester.  He was a gentle soul-kind, sincere and unpretentious.  A great father, he will be sorely missed by his loving family. Ken is survived by his children, Kendra Kowalczk (George Simon) and John Kowalczk; sister, Denise Kowalczk; and former wife and friend, Holly Kowalczk.  He is preceded in death by his son, Nickolas; father, Edward Kowalczk and mother, Clarice Brown. Friends and family may visit Sunday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.).  Services will be private with burial at Toledo Memorial Park.
