Kenneth Ray Henderson

Kenneth Ray Henderson, age 69 of Manitou Beach, Michigan passed away Saturday April 14, 2012 in the home of his daughter Mary. He was born September 29, 1942 in Middlesbourgh, Kentucky to Russ and Vern Henderson. Ken was employed at GM Powertrain in Toledo for 32 years retiring in 1995. He was very active in the UAW serving many positions and committees. Ken enjoyed his home on Devils Lake and fishing. He especially enjoyed his family and hosting many of his friends. Ken was preceded in death by his wife Diana; parents; brother Sam; and sister Imogene Page. He is survived by his daughter Mary Henderson Nancy; son James Penny Henderson; grandchildren Jessica, Nicholas and Katy; great grandchild Brylei; brothers Jerry and Donnie Henderson and Curt Nix; and his significant other Pat Moreno. Special thanks to Kens niece Marchell Myrice for her loving care of him the last month. Friends may visit at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Tuesday from 2-9 PM where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 River Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
