Kenneth A. Gorski

Kenneth A. Gorski age 89 of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospital. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 5, 1927 to Edward S. and Florence (Schoeder) Gorski. Ken was employed at Interlake Steel for 32 years retiring in 1971. Ken was a Maine Merchant in WWII. He was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings fan and enjoyed walleye fishing near Sidecut Park in Maumee. Surviving is his son, Richard E. (Kathy) Gorski; daughter, Janet L. Gorski; grandchildren, Kim (Eric) Shankleton, Daniel (Jacki) Cobb, Jason (Amy) Gorski, Alicia (Alex) Castillo and Danielle Thomas; great-grandchildren, Naomi, Cassi, Logan, Alex Jr., Victoria, Mia, Addy and a brother, Raymond (Alice) Gorski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean; sister, Lillian and brothers, Wayne and Edward Gorski Jr. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 12 Noon until the time of services at 2:00 PM.
