Kenneth Kenny J. Brown, 69, of Genoa, died Thursday morning, May 17, 2012, in the Edward & Marion Knight Hospice Center, Perrysburg, Ohio. Kenny was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 28, 1943, to Elmer and Ruth Buchert Brown. He married Bonnie I. Adcock in Toledo on September 16, 1967, and she survives. Kenny was a mechanic his entire life, working at several Toledo area companies. He could always be found laboring on anything that had an engine. During the summer months he loved to work in his yard, especially mowing grass on his John Deere. When winter came he was all over the neighborhood plowing snow from driveways and sidewalks. Kenny was a great husband and father, who took great pride in spending time with his family. He truly felt that with his family and work his life was complete. Kenny was a jokester, who loved to laugh and tease those around him while at the same time he was very much a gentleman, treating others with respect and compassion. Kenny was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Genoa, as well as a veteran serving in the Army National Guard. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Bonnie, sons, Kevin Tiffiny Brown of Williamsburg, VA, and Steven Jennifer Boyer Brown of Perrysburg, OH, along with granddaughters, Maddie and Olivia Brown. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronald F. Brown and sister, Carol A. Widmer. It was Kennys wish to be cremated and buried in the Clay Township Cemetery in Genoa. There will be a graveside service scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West Street, Genoa, OH 43430 who is assisting the family with arrangements.
