Kenneth L. Ahrens, 61, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his residence. He was born on August 28, 1960 in Port Clinton, OH to Raymond and Nancy (Stickney) Ahrens. Kenneth worked previously at several local establishments including the Holiday Inn and Kentucky Fried Chicken in Port Clinton. He was a graduate of Project Stir and a member of COG and served as the Service Excellence Liaison. Kenneth sat on the Human Rights Committee of Ottawa, Erie, Huron, and Sandusky Counties. He liked to go fishing, bowling, out to eat and to the movies, and he enjoyed live music. Kenneth had some really close friends and adored his cat, Tigger. Kenneth is survived by his brother, Robert Ahrens. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, David and Matthew Ahrens. Funeral services for Kenneth will be conducted by Pastor Beth Westfall 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 14, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury Township with burial to follow in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Kenneth may be given to the Ottawa County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 235 N. Toussaint S. Rd., Oak Harbor, OH.
