Kendra Kaye Van Newhouse

Kendra Kaye Van Newhouse, age 27, formerly of Maumee, Ohio, died on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Arizona. She was born on January 28, 1986 in Sylvania, Ohio to Robert and Carol Bertok Van Newhouse. Kendra graduated from Maumee High School in 2004 where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She excelled in academics and attended the Ohio State University. Kendra was an exceptional artist. She had a heart of gold and her family was her biggest joy. Kendra is survived by her parents, Robert and Carol; sons, Wyatt and Garrett; sister, Michelle Joe Smith; niece, Kennedy; grandma, Betty Van Newhouse; constant kitten companion, Miles; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Clara Bertok and Robert J. Van Newhouse; cousin, Amy Turner and uncle, Ken Bertok. Services for Kendra will be private.
