Keith Alan Parsons

Keith Alan Parsons, age 50, of Toledo, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 23, 2023, at Flower Hospital. He was born September 17, 1972, in Toledo to the late Kenneth and Sarah (Longman) Parsons and graduated from Whiteford Agricultural School where he played on the basketball and football team. Highly intelligent and independent, Keith went on to attend Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs Honors College. He started his own business not long after returning home to Toledo in 1993 and operated KAP Consulting, an engineering and software design company, for the past 30 years. In the last two years, Keith had the joy of being joined by his sons in the family business.

In his free time, Keith enjoyed Formula One Racing, video gaming, fishing with his children, and cheering for his beloved MSU Spartans, especially football and basketball. He also had a love of traveling and even went across the globe with his daughter for the 75th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France. He found his greatest joy in sharing time with his family. He coached his sons’ and daughter’s sports teams when they were young and attended all his kids’ events. Keith will also be remembered for announcing Southview soccer games. He was faithful and had a strong will that drove him to succeed. Keith will be deeply missed.

Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Natalie (Beat) Parsons; children, Kurtis (Sarah Thabit), Keenan and Kimberly Parsons; siblings, Kari (Jeff) Ryan and Kyle (Jessica) Parsons; brothers-in-law, Ryan (Emily) and Rob (Nicole) Beat; his mother and father-in-law, Doug and Sue Beat; his father’s wife, Lisa Parsons; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 11 am until the time of funeral services at 1 pm in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
