Katie Brown

On February 27, 2022, Kathryn Susanne Brown passed away at age 94.

Katie was born in Toledo to Harry and Hazel LaFleur. She graduated from the University of Toledo and before starting her family, she taught kindergarten at Ottawa Hills Elementary school.  Katie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, her son Brad, and her two sisters Betty Barnhart and Marjorie Wellstead.  She was married to Dick for almost 70 years.  She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Tim) Jones and daughter-in-law Sharon Brown.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Sydney, Haley and Griffin Brown and Caroline and Bennett Jones.
