Kathy D. Wegman, 66 of Genoa, died Tuesday evening, February 19, 2008, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Kathy was born November 8, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles and Nina Wickersham Hill. She retired after 20 years as a bank teller at Genoa Banking Company, Genoa branch. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Genoa, where she was once active in the Ruthenians, and had been a member of the Womens Auxiliary at the Cooley Canal Yacht Club. In her youth Kathy enjoyed theatrical dancing. Years later she loved golf, learning new needlework and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy is survived by her sons, Steve Kathy Wegman of Northwood and Scott Robin Wegman of Waterville, grandchildren, Kirsten Wegman, Christopher Wegman, Alexa Wegman and Nicole Wegman, brother, Charles Jodie Hill of Toledo and special friend, Joe Hunyor of Oregon, Ohio. Her parents preceded her in death. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 23, 2008, in St. Johns United Church of Christ, 1213 Washington St., Genoa, Ohio. Visitation will be in the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a time of fellowship and luncheon in the church hall. Interment will take place in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions in Kathys name to the church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd. Perrysburg, OH 43551. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Genoa, has assisted the family with arrangements.
