Kathy Ann Holewinski

Kathy Ann Holewinski, age 64, went to join our Heavenly Father on Saturday May 1, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 18, 1957 to James and Flora Laney, in Toledo, Ohio. As the oldest of five children, she worked hard to keep the others in line. Kathy loved tending to her garden while lending an ear to all her family and friends. She always knew the right thing to say in every moment whether it was a kind word, a bible verse, or a piece of advice. She applied her heart and mind to become many things in this world as a baker, an entrepreneur, a true green thumb gardener, a painter, and a master crafter. Above all, she was a loving mother to her seven children Heather (Mike) Lindsey, April (Ken) Cook, Crystal Lashley, Stacy Speegle, Timothy (Rosie) Speegle, Michael (Lindsey) Speegle, and Rebecca (Patrick) Nowacki; a loving grandmother to Austin, Summer, Logan, Ava, Emma, Carston, Madison, Talya, Morgan, Liam and Lincoln; a loving daughter to Flora Laney; a loving sister to Cindy, Bobby, Jay and Greg; a loving wife to husband Mark Holewinski; and loving stepmother to Allen and Christopher. Her love extended to in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. To honor Kathy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family will be holding a private memorial and encourages everyone to celebrate her life in their own way.
