Kathy Carr-Horton

Kathy Carr- Horton, 59, of Walbridge, passed away on September 3, 2014 at Toledo Hospital. Kathy was born on August 25, 1955, to Donald Carr and Murel Kontak. She worked for Foodtown until its closing and was a Produce Assistant Manager for Kroger. Kathy is survived by her children, Christopher Fisher and Tonya (Allen) Plummer; her grandchildren, Dustin Hernandez, Drew, Damon, and Dylan Plummer; her mother, Murel Kontak ; father, Donald Carr; brothers, Bill and Doug (Linda) Carr and significant other, Bob Kern. Kathy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and everything they were involved with, especially their sporting events. She enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casinos, and caring for her cats. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge (419-666-3121) with Funeral Services on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Terry Smith officiating.
