Kathryn Lynn Marchlewski

Kathryn Lynn Marchlewski (Caldwell), age 57, was called home to heaven on December 10, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She was born September 1, 1968, at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio, to James F and Lucy M (Marihugh) Caldwell. From the very beginning, she carried a fierce heart, a stubborn spirit, and a deep capacity to love.

Kathryn had a big heart and was always willing to help others when she could. She loved Jesus with all her soul, and in recent months had been drawing beautifully and intentionally closer to Him. Her faith was her anchor, especially through her illness. We rejoice knowing she is now held in the eternal arms of her Savior.

She loved many things passionately - politics, yard work, her pets (her beloved dogs Kuni and Boleslaw and her cats), and the simple joy of last-minute adventures and making memories with her family and neighbor and a precious bond with Butch and Mary.

Kathryn is survived by her children: Jason Burleson, Samantha Parker, Jeremie Leclerc, and Lydie Leclerc; along with her cherished bonus sons Jaysen and Christopher Marchlewski. She was a grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and was joyfully awaiting the arrival of her fifteenth, due in 2026.

She loved her siblings James, Cindy, and Melanie, and she adored her many nieces and nephews. Holidays were some of her greatest joys - especially Easter and Christmas, when she celebrated the birth and resurrection of her Savior with gratitude and childlike excitement.

Though her relationships were sometimes complicated, Kathryn loved deeply - and was deeply loved. Her story was imperfect and human, but also full of grace, second chances, and a faith that grew stronger even as her body grew tired.

Today, we take comfort knowing she has been reunited with loved ones who went before her; especially her beloved Joe (Joseph Marchlewski) and parents and she rests in the presence of the Lord she loved. – 1432 mom. Give Jesus a hug so he can hug you back for us.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held Thursday December 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM at The Flourish Flat 1519 Main Street, Genoa, Ohio 43430

We are asking that in this celebration of life we Honor Kathy by wearing her favorite color Purple or honor her by wearing pink or a breast cancer awareness shirt in honor of her fight with cancer. We wish to celebrate Kathy with you so please come even if you do not have those colors. Casual dress please. Arrangements entrusted to Robinson Walker Funeral Home, Genoa Chapel.
