Kathryn Frances Dilley

Kathryn F. Dilley age 95, of Toledo passed away on Saturday June 11, 2011 at Spring Meadows Care Center, Holland surrounded by her loving family. Kathryn was born in Hastings, PA on September 12, 1915 to Winfred and Eva McCoy Beringer. Kathryn was involved in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts as a leader; She was a member of the Gray Ladies Hospital Volunteers. During WWII, Kathryn was one of the many Rosie the Riveters. She enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and writing poetry. Surviving are her children, Kathleen Ronald Berlincourt, Joyce Mayberry, Judith Weber, Russell Susan Dilley Jr., Richard A. Kim Dilley and Teresa Mersereau. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell A. Dilley; daughter, Evelyn Dilley; grandson, Bruce R. Berlincourt; great-granddaughter, Kristen Jaworski; sisters, Jean Barnhart, Joyce McClellan, Betty Pfaff and brothers, Paul and Robert Beringer. Friends and family may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Friday June 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am.
