Kathleen A. Stephens

Kathleen A. Stephens (Abel), 75, of Port Clinton, Ohio went to be with The Lord on March 24, 2020 in the presence of her family. Kathy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was born on December 6, 1944 in Port Clinton, Ohio, daughter of Charles and Lucille (Scott) Abel. Kathy was employed by the Port Clinton City School District for 30 years as a bus driver. She enjoyed being an active member at church, planning family functions, and shopping. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Clinton Stephens, son Paul Stephens (Shelly Kennedy), grandson Hunter Stephens (Alexa Stephens), and granddaughter Megan Stephens as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Trudy Abel, and brothers, Terry Abel,  Richard Abel, and Thomas Abel. Due to current restrictions regarding public gatherings, visitation and services will be private for immediate family only on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, with burial at Riverview Cemetery. A Celebration of Life gathering will be announced at a later date.
