Kathleen Kay Skinner

Kathleen K. Skinner, 61, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away on, Friday, October 01, 2010 at her residence. Kathleen was born on March 22, 1949, in Sandusky, OH, the daughter of the late Willard Cromer and Jeannette Roberts Herl. On November 04, 1967 in Port Clinton, OH, Kathleen married Daniel R. Skinner and he preceded her in death on November 03, 2008. Kathleen worked as a clerk at Deans and a waitress and Underwoods Restaurant. She enjoyed the outdoors and animals. Kathleen especially loved raising her boys. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Matthew Suzanne Skinner of Florida, Jeff Michele Skinner of Hamilton, OH, Bill Angie Skinner of Fremont, OH and Chris Missy Skinner of Marblehead, OH; Grandchildren: Shawn, Lindsey, Rylan, Robin, Josie, Krista, Kyle and Karyn; Parents: William Jeannette Herl; Sisters: Cindy Ron Zwierlein of Bowling Green, OH, Susan Herl of Kingston, NY and Jenny Jim Smith of Oak Harbor, OH; Caregivers: Susan Dages, Jen Swartz and Joanne Molnar. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father: Willard Cromer and husband: Daniel R. Skinner. Per the familys wishes, there will be no visitation. A Private Graveside service will be held at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Kathleen may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ottawa County Humane Society or Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH.
