Kathleen M Sattler

Kathleen M. Sattler, 94, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Otterbein Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 26, 1929, to Charles and Marie (Swartz) Kowalski. Kathleen married her husband, Allen “Abe” J. Sattler and together raised their 5 children.

Kathleen was a devout Catholic, she was a faithful member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where she volunteered, was a eucharistic minister, and served as a Supervisor and Treasurer of the Altar Society. She believed in the power of prayer and was known as a prayer warrior, praying for all she could. Kathleen supported Catholic ministries through her time and donations. She enjoyed watching EWTN every day. Kathleen also was on the board of her condo association.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Marty (Laura Westfal) Sattler, Janise (Bob) Kaufman, Ken (Patty) Sattler, Cindy (Steve) Toerne, Nancy (Greg) Williams; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, Brian, Melissa, Emily, Kim, Jeff, Stephanie, Lori, Nick, Steve, Julie, Scott; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and sisters-in-law, Terrie Laur and Carol Kowalski. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandsons, Andy and Craig Sattler; siblings, Gerald, Geraldine, Louis and Eugene.

Friends will be received at Witzler Shank Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St, Perrysburg, Ohio on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St, Perrysburg, Ohio on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
