Kathleen M. Sackett

Kathleen M. Sackett, 61, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully Monday, November 27, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen was born January 16, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan to Matthew and Eleanor (Carson) Kehoe. She met the love of her life, Danny Sackett in 1976 and they married on June 15, 1984, sharing 47 years together.

Kathleen loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. As a world traveler, she visited over 35 countries. She enjoyed the warm weather and spending time at her condo in Florida. Kathleen worked in the Perrysburg Schools for many years. She loved working with children and making a difference in their lives. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Her greatest pride and joy was being “Gigi” to her five grandchildren. Her world revolved around them. If you were lucky enough to be her friend, you had a friend for life. She will be remembered for her genuine, outgoing personality and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Danny; children, Ashley (Jason) Skolits and Brandon (Ashley) Sackett; grandchildren, Penny, Parker, Callie, Sophie and Leah and brother, Danny (Stephanie) Kehoe. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family will be received Monday, December 4, 2023 from 2-6 p.m. where sharing memories of Kathleen will be from 6-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at St. John XXIII, 24250 N. Dixie Hwy, Perrysburg, Ohio, 43551 where a funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
