Kathleen A. Ondo

Kathleen A. Ondo, 71, of Toledo, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Kathy was born January 9, 1946 in Celina and graduated from Sylvania High School in 1964. She received a degree in X-Ray Technology from the University of Toledo and was employed as an X-ray Tech at The Toledo Hospital and Pharmacy Tech at Parkview Hospital. An active and caring woman, Kathy enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles, reading mysteries and working in her flower garden. She loved her dogs and especially her current pet Yorkie, Daisy. Kathy found her greatest joy spending time in the sunshine with her husband in the Caribbean or at their home for 6 months of the year in Ruskin, FL. Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Charles T. Chuck Ondo on May 28, 2017; father, Richard Waldo; grandson, Nicholas Ondo; and nephew, Jeff Klorer. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Onalee Waldo; son, Brian Ondo; sisters, Robin Pennell, Chris Simon and Dawn Waldo; sister-in-law, Charlene Laberdee (Louis); nieces and nephews, Mickey Snyder, Tiffany Grimm, Richard Klorer, Bill Klorer, Joe and Jim Laberdee. Service and burial will be private. Memorials in Kathys name may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
