Kathleen N. Miller

Kathleen Kate N. Miller, 80, of Graytown, Ohio, died in Genoa Retirement Village Friday morning, November 27, 2009. She was born December 4, 1928, in Bono, Ohio, to Edward and Mabel R. Weidner Yoster. On November 9, 1946, in Elliston, Ohio, she married Gaylord J. Miller and he preceded her in death September 28, 1978. Kate was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Elliston, where she taught Sunday School many years ago. She was a homemaker and liked gardening and taking care of the birds, feeding and watching them. Kate enjoyed playing cards, especially Hand Foot and Euchre. She was also a very good bowler a number of years ago. Kate is survived by her children, Sharon Ted Bolander of Flushing, MI, Marsha Gary Allen Gallagher of Garfield Heights, OH, and Gaylord J. Constance Miller of Graytown; her grandchildren, Adriana Joe Ranta of Mason, MI and Kristie Gallagher of Toledo. She is also survived by her long time companion, Dewayne Zunk of Genoa. Her parents, husband, and six siblings preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 29, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. in Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston. The graveside service will be private. The family has suggested memorials for Kate to Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551, or the Genoa Retirement Village, 300 Cherry St., Genoa, OH 43430. Arrangements have been handled by Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Genoa, Ohio.
