Kathleen J. Knierim

Kathleen J. Knierim, 72, of Curtice, Ohio died, Friday, August 28, 2015 in her home. She was born in Curtice on December 12, 1942 to Marvin James and Clela Genevive (Cover) King. On November 25, 1966 she married William H. Knierim, Jr. in Williston, Ohio. Kathleen worked for the Toledo Public School System for 31 years as a secretary, retiring in 2003 as the secretary for McKessen Preschool. Kathleen was a 4-H advisor and a long time member of St. John Lutheran Church in Williston. She enjoyed playing Bunko and helping out with church activities, but spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was her most important pastime. Survivors of Kathleen include her children, Lisa (Roger) Hart, William (Larry Turbide) Knierim III, Pamela (Lee) Lasher, brother, Eugene King, grandchildren, Brandon (Emily) Hart, Stephanee (Tim) Samuelson, Amber (Gene) Snyder, William, Rex, Jason, Devon, Jesi, Jose, Tia, Mackenzie, Benjamin, and Christopher Hart, and great grandchildren, Rainy Mae, Bo Eugene, Cato Maximus, and Dane Arthur. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Joshua Allen and Matthew Thomas Knierim, and sisters, Juanita King and Beatrice Kohler. A service for Kathleen will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September, 3, 2015 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, Ohio. Toledo St. Williston, Ohio.
