Kathleen "Kathy" Brock

Kathleen "Kathy" Brock, aged 78, passed away on December 2, 2023. Born on May 9, 1945, to Vernon and Helen Harter, she married Gerald Brock on May 18, 1974. They spent 50 wonderful years together, building a cherished family.

Kathy found joy in nurturing her flower garden, surrounded by the beauty of wildlife at the family home. She accompanied her husband, Jerry, in his drag racing endeavors across the country, relishing in reuniting with close friends. Kathy was a dedicated member of the Northwest Ohio Pontiac Club, frequently attending social gatherings. She loved coffee, dinners, and dancing with friends, but her greatest joy was building and caring for her family and friends. Kathy will be remembered for her love, compassion, and selflessness.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Helen Harter, and her daughter, Pam Whitehouse. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Brock; sister; Patt Engstrom; Children, Sheryl Coon, Scott Brock, David Coon, Jerry Stover, Michael Stover, Donnie Stover; along with 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kathy’s life on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 2-6 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
