Kathleen J. Horvat

Kathleen J. Horvat, 63, of Northwood, Ohio, died Saturday evening, December 28, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Kathleen was born July 27, 1950, in Wauseon, Ohio, to Harold A. and Marilynn H. Guildford Stine. On March 11, 1967, in Toledo, Ohio, she married John M. Horvat and he survives. For more than 25 years Kathleen worked as a library clerk at the main branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library. She enjoyed reading, sewing, playing slot machines, working on genealogy, but her greatest enjoyment was her grandchild. In addition to her husband, John, Kathleen is survived by her son, John Dawn, daughter, Sandra Chris, grandchild, John P., her brother, Michael and sisters, Sherilyn and Judith. Her parents, sister, Heddy, and brother, Terrance, preceded her in death. Per Kathleens wishes, there will be no services. The family has suggested memorials to be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551; or the donors choice. The family has been assisted with arrangements by the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH 43430.
