Kathleen Yvonne Gurney

Kathleen Y. Gurney age 77 of Maumee passed away on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen was born in Toledo on November 3, 1932 to John P. and Gertrude Whalon Rynn. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, her home and her canine companions, Gertie and Andy. Kathleen also participated in womans bowling leagues for many years at Timbers in Maumee. Kathleen is survived by her children, Dean A. Smith, Douglas A. Smith, Diane A. Smith Laurie Vitone; grandchildren, Courtney, Sarah and Joseph; sister, Elizabeth Rynn and brother, Paul Catherin Rynn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gurney; son, Dale A. Smith; siblings, Pat and Jack and her parents. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee on Tuesday September 14th, 2010 from 6:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 pm.
