Katherine S. Katie Nehls

Katherine S. Nehls was born December 11, 1980, and passed away March 8, 2015, in Toledo, Ohio. As a young girl, Katie enjoyed swimming, basketball, roller blading and music. She suffered a near-fatal car accident in September 1996, from which she never fully recovered. Katies greatest joy in life and hope for the future was her daughter, Jasmine. Katie is survived by her daughter, Jasmine Bretz, mother Karen Nehls, father, Barry (Sue) Nehls, sisters, Monica (Rick) Todd and Rebekka Ervin, grandfather, Herbert Nehls and special friend, Chris Strain. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor. The family requests that memorials for Katherine be directed to the donors choice.
