Katherine Rose Kate Head

Katherine Kate Rose Head, 87, of Maumee, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg on June 7, 2017. She was born to Clair and Margaret (Murdock) Lee on February 12, 1930 in Toledo, OH. She was married to James Jim Head and one of her favorite past times was camping in Port Clinton for 46 years with family and friends. Kate is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Jim (Kim) Head; daughter, Cindy (Dave) Brahier; grandchildren, Shayne (Samantha), Judy (John), Kristy (Gary), Katie (Nate), Jeremy, and Bryant; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Dawn Head; daughter, Judy; granddaughters, Robyn and Annie; sister, Alice; and brother, Richard. Visitation will be Friday, June 9th, 2017 from 2-8pm at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee, OH where services will be held on Saturday, June 10th, at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Maumee. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg.
