Katherine Bower Dombey

Katherine Bower Dombey, age 92, of Perrysburg, Ohio and formerly Rocky River, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital in Maumee, Ohio.  She was born on October 24, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio to Dr. Walter and Florence (Bower) Shaw. Katherine attended Flora Stone Mather at Case Western Reserve and was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Lakewood, Ohio.  She enjoyed volunteering at Lakewood Hospital, but her best job was being a great mom. Katherine is survived by her sons, Philip L. (Sandi) Dombey and Martin S. (Marilyn) Dombey; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert L. Dombey and brother, Alan Bower. Graveside services will be held at Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River, Ohio on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Online condolences may be shared at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
