Katarina Mrazek

MRAZEK Katarina Nana Kovacevic Katarina Kovacevic Mrazek, age 83, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at her home in Sylvania Township surrounded by her loving family. Katarina was born November 22, 1926 to Franjo and Jana Kovacevic in the small village of Marcani, Croatia. She was raised on a farm where she grew to love wildlife and gardening. Katarina was very talented in needlepoint, cross stitch and crochet and she gave many of her beautiful creations as gifts to family and friends. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Katarina was preceded in death by her husband, Stjepan Mrazek; parents; and brother, Duro Kovacevic. She is survived by her daughters, Georgia Kovco and Maria Kirin Wagner Robert Wagner; grandson, Ivan Kovco Ana; great-granddaughters, Paula and Petra Kovco; and sister, Marica Kapelac. Funeral services will be at 10:00am on Saturday TODAY at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Avenue west of Corey Rd..
