Karol Rose Brown (Lindeman) died peacefully on December 3rd in Pensacola, FL at the age of 71. Karol is survived by her husband, Robert Brown; children, Tina Hoffman, Karin Johnstone (Husband John), and Steven Brown (Wife Margaret); Sister, Doreen Mohr (Husband David); 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Karol was born on August 27th in Toledo, OH to Karl and Rosemond Lindeman. She graduated from Whitmer High School in 1961 and later graduated from the Hawaii School of Real Estate. She married Bob, her high school sweetheart in 1961 and was a devoted wife for over 53 years. She worked as a Bridal Consultant at Modern Bridal for several years, and later was the office manager of Gatewood Realty in Toledo. Fulfilling her dream of living in Hawaii, she and Bob moved to Maui where she worked as the Office Manager for 5A Rent-a-Space. Karol loved to travel and spent time after Bob's retirement RVing before settling in the Pensacola, FL area. Karol was an accomplished bowler and competed on numerous ladies and mixed leagues. She was an avid card player and participated in a local card club. She was a creative and talented artist who loved to paint and enjoyed crafts of all types. As an avid gardener, she spent much time maintaining beautiful plants and flowers. Karol loved animals. She bred and showed collies early in her adult life, and enjoyed her two schnauzer's Sammy and Roxie, during her retirement. Karol was an active member in the International Order of Rainbow Girls as a young lady. The family will receive friends from 2-7 P.M. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. S. Boundary, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133) where all are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life at 7 P.M. with Steven Brown Officiating.
