Karen B. Russo, 84, of Catawba Island, Ohio and Clearwater Beach, Florida, passed away on February 7, 2026. She was born on August 1, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to Clarence Bartel and Delores Bahs.
Karen proudly received a BA in Interior Design from Denison University. She worked at JL Hudson Company in Detroit before owning her own business, Contract Interiors in Dearborn, Michigan.
Per Karen's wishes, her services will be held privately. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Ottawa County Humane Society.
