Karen Marie Thomas-Pitzen-Jones-Miller

Karen Miller, 73 of Perrysburg OH, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023, surrounded by family at the Manor of Perrysburg. Karen was born February 20, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio to Richard and Claire (Webb) Thomas.

Karen retired in 2015 from Sodexo Catering at Marathon Oil in Findlay, OH. She also worked at Holiday Inn French Quarter, Belmont Country Club, and Findlay Inn.

Karen enjoyed playing cards, vacationing, NASCAR, her flower gardens, and loved Christmas with her family. She was a fantastic cook!

Karen is survived by her sons; Jim (Deb) Pitzen Jr. and Steven (Kim Irwin Weyer) Pitzen Grandchildren; Jimmy III, Valerie, Shane, Samantha, Kaleigh, McKenzie, and Michaela. Siblings; Charlie (Sharon) Thomas, Jeri Sue (Jim) Dahmer, Deb Soldwish (Dave Hoobler), and Ruth (Jim) Thompson; nieces and nephews, Shelley (Dave) Lynch, Charlie Thomas, Jason (Mackenzey) Thomas, and Stephanie Thomas. Step Children; Cari (Seth) Taplin, and Steven (Deena) Miller.

Karen is Preceded in death by her husband Kenny Miller, Brother in law Mike Soldwish, mother and father-in-law Karl and Margaret Miller, and nephew Matthew Smelser.

A celebration of Karen's life will be held Friday, April 21, 2023, at 11 am at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home 222 E. South Boundary Street Perrysburg, OH (419) 874-3133. Inurnment will follow in the Fort Meigs Union Ceremony. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Karen's name to Memory Lane Care Services 2500 N. Reynolds Rd, Toledo, OH 43615.
