Karen Lynn Meggitt

Karen Meggitt, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on October 10, 1966, Karen’s life was marked by her kindness, her nurturing spirit, and her love for her family.

From her early days reveling in the joys of sports to her dedicated career as an STNA, Karen touched the lives of many with her smile and her care for others. Her big heart and selfless nature were well-known to those around her, always placing the needs of others above her own.

Karen’s love for her family knew no bounds, especially for her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her smile, her laughter, and her love were the gifts she gave freely and will be the treasures remembered by those who knew her.

Karen is survived by her mother, Linda Donaldson; son, Raymond (Samantha) Dominguez; grandchildren, Mario, Allie, Samson, Genevieve, and Callie; and siblings, Robert Meggitt, John Meggitt, A.G. Meggitt, Laurie Bergman, Amy Cotterman, Kristin Fitch, and Mellisa Wallace. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Alexandra Dominguez; and sister, Tammy Gibson.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Walker Funeral Home, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service being held at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Karen’s family to help with funeral costs.
