Karen Lynn Korb

Karen Lynn Korb-Kubicki passed away peacefully at the age of 74 surrounded by her family. Lovingly known as Mimi, survived by her nineteen great grandchildren, ten grandchildren: Brandie (Jason) Greer; Kristi Reichow; Holly (James) Coberley; Jeff Reichow (Danielle DiModica); Heather (Aaron) Drain; Brandon (Mariah) Korb; Hannah (Kenny) Mineart; Stewart L Holloway; Harlie (Dakota) Gray; Steven Holloway. Three children; Steven (Sandi) Korb; Jody Korb, Jennifer Reichow. Brother; David (Shondell) Kubicki. Husband of fifty-eight years, Jeffery Charles Korb. Preceded in death by his parents; Esther Mae Duckett-Kubicki (mother); Edward Anthony Kubicki (father). Brother; Richard Lee Kubicki; father-in-law, Robert Charles Korb; mother-in-law, Gertrud Esther Schultz-Korb; son-in-law, Herbert J Reichow. During Karen (Mimis) very eventful life, when she was not enjoying her career at Food-Town as a treasured cashier, she had multiple hobbies. Mimi had a love for gardening which helped provide fresh food and ingredients used in another passion of hers, such as Cooking and Baking. She was an amazing cook/baker and there was no family event or holiday complete without at least one signature dish and pastry from her. She enjoyed spending time on her back-porch year-round bird watching, reading, and crocheting. Throughout Mimis legacy she was able to crochet a blanket for each of her 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren, a blanket that each child cherishes. Mimi also shared a desire of antiquing with Jeff. They both loved to visit garage sales and flea-markets in search of items that would bring back their childhood memories. Though Karen and Jeff were only children when they met, their love for each other was awe-inspiring. Blessed to have 60 years together as each others one and only, Soulmates. As they both would say Love you more, forever and always. Mimi has been an inspiration to her family and friends. She will be treasured and missed. Love You More
