Karen Lola Doak

Karen Lola Doak, 54, of Maumee, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 19, 2009 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born February 2, 1955 in Toledo to Harold and Marcella Krohn Doak. Karen was employed with the Toledo Humane Society for 32 years. She loved animals, traveling and helping with a variety of projects for children. Karen is survived by her sisters and brothers, Stella Rosie Doak, Stephen Deborah Doak, Connie Ed Gust, Lawrence Doak and Terence Dawn Doak; nephews and nieces, Stephen Stephanie Doak, Jr, Bryant Doak, Heather Gust, Joseph Gust, Ethan Doak and Connor Doak; many aunts, uncles cousins and friends special dogs, Kujo, Tyla and Rex and cat, Heidi. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Dale Doak. Family and friends may visit Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH where funeral services will be held Monday, November 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
