Karen Ann Densic, 82, of Graytown, OH passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born on November 30, 1942, in Graytown, OH, to Dorothy (Zunk) and Clarence Banky. On September 24, 1966 in Rocky Ridge, OH she married David Earl Densic, and he preceded her in death on January 6, 1999.
Karen worked as a hair stylist for over 45 years and was an avid homemaker. She was actively involved in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rocky Ridge, OH. Where over the years she was a preschool Sunday school teacher, church treasurer, altar guild member, and served on numerous other committees. Karen was a devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren, actively provided weekly childcare in their infancy and youth, and acted as chauffeur taking them to numerous sporting and school events.
Surviving are her daughter, Teresa (Densic) Warnke (Sandusky, OH), and son, Rick (Cara Bahnsen) Densic (Graytown, OH)., and grandsons Joshua (Tarah) Warnke and Justin Warnke (Haley Cooper), and granddaughters, Kierra & Aleesia Densic, great granddaughter, Tatum Warnke, Karen’s siblings: Eugene Banky (deceased) and wife, Barbara (Hemminger) Banky of Graytown, Bonnie (Banky) Adkins and spouse, Jim Adkins of Oak Harbor, Darla (Banky) Greer and spouse, Robert Greer of Perrysburg, In-Laws: Frank Sr. & EdnaMae Densic (deceased) of Genoa, Frank Densic Jr. (deceased) and Mae Densic (surviving) of Hazard, KY, Frederick (Fritz) and Mary Densic (surviving) of Millbury, and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Brian Densic.
Visitation for Karen will be Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 3-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2024 at St. John Lutheran Church, 450 Rocky Ridge Rd., Oak Harbor, OH with additional visitation one hour prior to the services at church. Interment will follow in Limestone Cemetery, in Limestone, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Karen may be given to Cora Roob Music Scholarship Fund or St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge.
