Junius Wilmore Judy

Wilmore Judy, 90, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Wilmore was born July 12, 1924 in Greenville, Ohio to Hershel Luther and Lureatha Lucille (Shade) Judy. Wilmore married Gertrude Fincher on September 17, 1949 and she preceded him in death on June 19, 2012 He proudly served our country in WWII as a radio operator with the 8th Armor Division in the United States Army. Wilmore worked as a parts clerk for Toledo Scale. He loved trains and had many model trains. Wilmore is survived by his sons, Roger W. (Cindy Cressy) Judy, Mark Edward Judy, Brook A. (Jaci Babin) Judy; grandchildren, Zachary T. and Brittany L. Judy; cousin, Julia Overholser; eight nephews and one niece. Along with his wife, Gert, Wilmore was preceded in death by his brother, Hershel Luther Judy, Jr. Friends will be received Monday, August 4, 2014 from 1-3 P.M. at Witzler Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where a funeral service will be held at 3 P.M. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
